These numbers act like a CEO summary — instantly revealing how the business is performing this year and how close it is to hitting its goals.


📊 2. What’s Selling and Why — Sales by Category

As I dug into category-level performance, the story became clearer:

  • Office Supplies leads the pack with over $6.9M in YTD sales, delivering the highest profit share.

  • Technology, though lower in sales, shows incredible potential for high-margin growth.

For decision-makers, this insight is gold — it signals where to double down and where to innovate.


🏆 3. Leaders and Laggards — Product Performance

Every e-commerce business has its heroes and underperformers.

  • Top Product: Staple Envelope — the champion of YTD sales.

  • Followed closely by Staples, showing strong customer demand for office essentials.

But the bottom tells another side of the story:

  • Eldon Jumbo and Lexmark X95 are trailing.

These low performers highlight opportunities for product repositioning, discount strategies, or inventory reconsideration.
